Can I be involved in sports and still be in band?
YES! We have many athletes in the band. We also have students who participate in a variety of other activities at Bremen High School and in our community. The key to participating in multiple activities is time management. The time management skills that students learn as members of the band will help them succeed and excel in all of their activities, sports, and academics.
Do I have to be in a band class to be a member of the band?
Yes. It is very important that all band members be in a band class. Although we have some rehearsals outside of the school day, each band class meets for 55 minutes during each day as a class.

What if I don't have a lunch in my schedule?
If you don't have a lunch in your schedule you are usually allowed to eat for the first 10 minutes of your 12:00 PM class. However, sometimes this is not possible due to the particular class. If this happens you can eat at the beginning of your band class. Every year we have anywhere from a few students to over a dozen students that eat at the beginning of their band class because they do not have a lunch in their schedule. We will work it out!
